Wendy loves coming to his therapy sessions and loves her ABA therapists. Wendy has made significant progress and continues to learn new skills. Each new skills that Wendy masters is a Celebration that her BCBA, RBT and Caregivers all celebrate together! Wendy’s verbal language has improved significantly. Wendy first learnt how to communicate by making gestures, then moved on to echoing the therapist’s words, then proceeded to asking for reinforcing items with the help of Visuals. And finally, Wendy has just recently verbally asked for help on her own! Wendy is currently fully potty trained and enjoys playing with toys and imaginative play with her therapists.

Andrew has his neighbor join the session to practice these social skills and play skills with her. Andrew’s ABA team is also working on increasing his interaction by social events. They addressed his specific needs, utilizing his interest in reading and research as a motivator by helping him understand the importance of expanding his food repertoire and engaging in healthy eating habits.
